Warsaw, Poland. April 2012.
Neon was the prevalent theme of the night. Our hotel was in this city area of Warsaw, which looked so much like a Bourne movie setting especially at night. But the historic old town–the one with the cute and colorful old-school houses and buildings–is just minutes away and looks like a Disneyland set. Such is the strange juxtapositioning in Warszawa.
See that Samsung billboard? Our hotel room window is somewhere by the floating flowers. I opened our window and could actually reach out and touch the tarp. Unusual sunscreen solution, I suppose.
A really creepy display for a hair place.
Pierrogi! aka chunky ravioli.
