Architecture in: Milan, Italy

Milan, Italy. August 2014.

I’ve only ever spent a few hours in Milan, and this revisit was no different (I was there en route to another city to buy some school supplies). I pretty much got the same vibe now and back in 2010, which is a slightly colder, more austere Italy than what people probably envision, but nonetheless beautiful.

Like a black & white scene out of a movie from the forties or something.

But the imposing gothic duomo never fails to impress.

Yep, I think imposing is the perfect word for it.

Hoping to go back again soon for a proper visit, and maybe I’ll actually get to venture past just the duomo and galleria area :))
