Florence, Italy. August-October 2014.
The first part of what will surely be a vast collection of photos of random people spotted around Florence. Themes emerge. Peculiarities ensue.
I can appreciate these street performers’ dedication via their full-scale production–check out that mini piano.
Took a picture of this girl taking a picture of what I just took a picture of.
Something about Asians and stereotypes. Well, I’m one to talk. This was me (except I just had my phone’s camera and not a DSLR) right before I snapped a photo of her.
I don’t know what it is with kids eating gelato on the floor, and their seeming aloofness about it.
Is this the love triangle of the 21st century? Me, myself and selfie?
This was taken in October, but I swear Piazza Signoria is still this packed even in December :(( It seems Florence’s peak season is year-round.
More instances of Asians fulfilling their own stereotypes.
This Grom-front scene could easily be captioned into a telenovela.
And well, this one isn’t technically about the people, but come on. Two grown men giving a dog a pedicure by the piazza at midday? It’s the stuff of movies or really weird superhero origin stories.
